About Rachel Ashworth

Equine Osteopath, LMT

Rachel grew up in the saddle, raised by parents and grandparents who shared her deep love for horses and wholeheartedly supported her passion. She began competing in dressage and three-day eventing, where she developed a strong foundation in horsemanship, conditioning, and comprehensive horse care.

During high school, Rachel transitioned to the hunter/jumper ring, competing on the “A” circuit. Throughout her competitive years, one principle remained constant: her horses’ well-being always came first. This commitment to exceptional care sparked a deeper curiosity about why so many horses experience recurring physical challenges.

After high school, Rachel’s desire to understand the “why” behind these patterns led her toward holistic and conscious horsemanship. She pursued advanced bodywork training to better support structural balance, performance, and long-term soundness in the horse.

Today, Rachel resides in Prescott, Arizona with her family, where she focuses on equine bodywork dedicated to supporting the health, mobility, and overall well-being of the horse.community.

An osteopath must know the shape and positions of every bone in the body, as well as that part to which every ligament and muscle is attached. He must know the blood and the nerve supply. He must comprehend the human system as an anatomist, and also from a physiological standpoint. He must understand the form of the body and the workings of it. That is a short way to tell what an osteopath must know. – A. T. Still MD DO Autobiography
