A Horse will reflect exactly what you need to see about yourself.
Rachel Ashworth-Hernandez
Rachel grew up riding horses. She was lucky enough to have grandparents and a Mom who loved horses and understood the passion to support her. Rachel was a part of the Black Oaks Pony club in Central California and competed in dressage, and 3 day eventing in her early life. Which lead to gaining a solid base in horse care and learning the importance of true horsemanship. During her high school career, she moved her sights to the hunter/jumper rings and competed on the "A” circuit. All the while implementing only the best care for her horses, knowing they always come first. After high school Rachel’s passion for horses only kept growing. She wanted to learn more of why horses struggle with a lot of the same repeating issues and understanding the horses more deeply overall. This lead her down a path of holistic and conscious horsemanship. Today Rachel resides in Dexter OR with her family. Focusing on rehabbing and training horses, along with body work to support the equine community.
Rachel graduated from The Vluggen Institute for Equine Osteopathy and Education, in December of 2019. Where she studied the principles and philosophy of Equine Osteopathy, anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, neuro-anatomy, neuro-physiology, structural manipulations, visceral mobility and motility, soft tissue and fascial techniques, cranio sacral and cranio-mandibular techniques.
